Description

A bit of a special release here.. Only 180 copies pressed, one sided, hand stamped and numbered so it’s strictly limited, Anyone who’s heard this track is unlikely to ever forget it.. Widely known as ‘The Bollard track’ it features a strange “sat nav man” giving directions, that gradually get more and more random & absurd and was first released in 2002 on Wevie’s excellent ‘The Age Old Age Of Old Age’ album on Sonig records.. A 12″ was also released but with a completely different mix, so we proudly present to you on one sided 12″ Vinyl, the original and best mix accompanied by a Jerome Hill remix.

If you’ve heard more than a couple of Jerome Hill sets in the last 16 years it’s very likely that you may already be familiar with the original mix as it’s been a staple of his sets since it’s release. Jerome’s remix shines a light on the insane vocals (courtesy of Wevie’s Mista Vast) and underpins them with heavy and relentless Techno beats that extend the original 3 minute track into a 7 minute drum fest. Watch out for the Smiley Culture sample in there too !

This release and the remix have been planned for the last couple of years so it’s a relief to finally get it out there.
